American singer Beyonce Giselle Knowles started out her singing career as the lead singer for the very popular, all female group Destiny's Child. In 2003, she decided to embark on a solo career with the release of her debut album entitled "Dangerously in Love". The album, which included the hit singles "Baby Boy" and "Crazy in Love", won several Grammy Awards including Best Contemporary R&B Album and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance in 2004.

With the success of first album still fresh, Beyonce released another hit album with the title "B-Day" in 2006. The album featured the songs "Irreplaceable", "Ring the Alarm" and Deja Vous. The single Irreplaceable reached the #1 spot in the Billboard Hot 100 while the song Deja Vous reached the top spot in UK Charts.

The beautiful Beyonce attracted the attention of Hollywood, appearing in several movies before appearing in the 2006 Oscar-nominated movie "Dream Girls". She received two Golden Globe nominations.
